I started this blog back in April of this year. Back then all I knew about computers was how to send e-mails. It took me a couple of months before I understood how to set up links, and a lot longer how to use "copy" and "paste". I have a sketch pad filled with scribbled URLs (whatever that stands for!), which my room-mate believed was me insanely keeping a "hard copy" of all my old links. When she found out the real reason, she fell about laughing.
But now, I can bore her to tears if I start up with something new that I've figured out. My blog has a long way to go, but so do I. Hopefully, we'll both keep getting better. In the mean-time, I've just added my blog to Technorati! Technorati Profile
One small step...
O.C.D. may be my default as to why I checked to see if Blogger had fixed the problem. *THANKS BLOGGER!* So now all I have to do is re-install all those lovable side orders A.K.A. widgets. But my pretty "aspire" template is back. Yay. However, the "comments" part is disabled, which I am working on.
Please accept my apologies. I was trying to fix a problem with my "comments" which weren't working. When I tried to upload the old, broken template, which was better than the mess you see now, I received a "problem code" to report, as it would now no longer work either. The Blogger Help Center has been flooded with frustrated bloggers who have also been given this code. It's been going on for about twenty hours now.
I'm tired, so I'm giving up for the night. I hope that the Blogger folks fix this before anyone has to read this post. But judging from the time they took to respond to anyone, I highly doubt it. But, one can hope and in my case, dream.
This is my first post on the new template "Aspire". Pretty, ain't it? I've spent a couple of months trying to upload it; ever since I glommed on it on Amanda's Bloggerbuster. As I know diddly about computers, it took me until late last night to do it! I was actually trying to figure out how to create an archive widget that showed post topics, when I saw the light!
Anyhow, I've been remiss in writing because I've wasted a lot of time trying to make this blog more user friendly. Hopefully I'll have the navigation menu up and running soon. In the meantime, please forgive this work in progress.
