To be honest, this is my first attempt at blogging. Ever. I never thought to speak until now.
I listen to public radio all day long, and then log on to news to catch up on things that I may have missed. Apparently, there has been a "Madam" in the DC area who has been frequented by men elected to office, who are now hiding behind various "mis-spoke", and "mis-step" routines. It is this offensive and frankly cowardly routine that made me start this blog. I am not a political person. I read this disgusting stuff on the web and wanted to make a comment. And I say disgusting, meaning that that the men get to go home at night. That their wives and children get to see them. That the children go to school with the scandal.
The real horror to me is that the "Madam" is the one in jail.
Why is it that the men are sitting pretty, whilst the "Madam" is in lock-up?
I'll 'fess up right now to a little dirty secret of mine. First, I don't have cable. Second, I LOVE COPS, JAIL, and anything even remotely like that. Now, one thing I learned on Cops was, if a john (e.g. A POLITICIAN) hires a madam/hooker/lady of the night/prostitute/etc., the perpetrator gets a ticket. Or an arrest.
NBC has a thriving show on what happens to men who elicit under-age sex. They feature programmes where the viewer can view as they interview and then finally arrest the offender.
But back to the point. I don't know the woman's name. Nor should I. But I know the names of the "gentlemen" involved. You can find then quite easily on any net news site. You can bombard their offices with e-mails and phone calls, or what-ever makes your hearts happy. They are elected officials, who are supposed to uphold the laws of the land. So, do something about if you live in those areas, for crying out loud. Stop those wankers from getting away from it.
Now, I am a little disorganized, but I will try my level best to get back to you tomorrow, or so, and hopefully with more stuff on our Sister In Jail!

I am only a person on a journey, so whilst you may relate to my story, it is only a splinter in your tree of life. Make sure to respect yourself, because you are worthy.
Thank you, Dano.
