John D's Eloquent Eulogy Of Magic, Imagination, Play And AIDS.

Posted by kw

My hero John D. over at Storied Mind, has written the most beautiful, touching, caring and insightful eulogy of his friend Steven.  I am actually jealous that I didn't know this man myself.  Steven is a shining example of the true sense of wonder and imagination that we have as children, only embodied in an adult.  He and his friend created an environment where countless children were engaged, emboldened and inspired.

Take a moment and stop by.  The spirit of Steven is alive in John's words.  The more who hear the story, the further this man's vision will spread.

Dano - OMG - I was just stopping by to see what you were up to! Thank you for these kind words - but even more I'm so glad this story moves you. I'm grateful to that higher power if I can convey just a hint of what Steven was like - and my post only scratches the surface. And talk about heroes - you're in my Pantheon!

JOHN~

I love your ability to capture the very essence of your subject, be it Steven, depression, spirituality, etcetera.

You have always been too kind to me, and I thank you for it!
