really beautiful...they make me think of certain renaissance paintings somehow...but I can't say how...since I don't know anything about art...but there is something ...especially about the first...

*Blush* Thank you.
GIANNA~
The renaissance featured large women like me! Also, there was a form of painting that Rembrandt did called "chiascuro", or dark to light. Not that I'm in his league!
so are you saying I may actually know what I'm talking about??
I don't think you could write something I haven't experienced except my family.....they have remained loyal and loving. I have Bipolar ....Mixed States
I'm going to follow your blog because I think I can learn alot

Dano,
wow, pretty cool paintings!
GIANNA~
You always do, my sweet! I also noticed my silly hat in the painting, which ties in also to the "Dead Boys" of Renaissance..
DARREL~
How wonderful and inspiring that your family is so supportive. I will stop by this week-end.
POLAR BEAR~
I am not unhappy with my self-portrait, but the other portrait needs a lot of work.
I tend toward iconic painting, so this symbolism from our interviews ended up not working for me, so much.
Great artwork! I really like these portraits, keep up the good work!

Beautiful Dano.
will try to make your show next weekend. Will any of these be for sale after the show?
I want one. How much do you charge to do portraits? I'd love to have a pic of the BBSD bum on my wall, even though I didn't take the picture.
Great job Dano,
The eyes in both paintings are almost hypnotic. I find myself staring. Plus your paint style is very expressive. Keep up the good work!
Those are great! Congratulations!
Hey Dano. Just wanted to drop by and say I was thinking of you. The portraits are stunning. I'm with Gianna. There is indeed *something*. I hope you know just how 'super-human' you are. Truly cool =)
These are so soulful...you have an amazing talent!
I loved them Dano!
Seriously!
