I have a disgusting cold, which I can thank Frank for. He owns the house that I'm working on, restoring the paint and plaster work. He was kind enough to come up to me on Thursday to tell me he had a cold. I don't know about the rest of you, but I tend to keep to myself when I'm sick. I'm not that fabulous to look at when I'm well, so why would I abuse your eyes, when my eyes and nose are swollen and streaming?
There is also the strange notion that I was raised with; that it is not nice to make other people sick. For example, if you are unwell, you do not go to work because even though you may be fine to work, it's not fair to your coworkers. They don't want to listen to you honking, hacking and unwrapping endless cough drops. They don't like the smell of Vicks, the sound of your snot-clotted voice, the expanding piles of dampened tissues or your self-obsessed minutia of every phlem-filled moment of your cold. But most of all, they don't want what you have.
So, thanks, Frank, you sick bastard.
Forty-eight hours later and I'm well enough to read 'n' write again. I saw that my favourite Good Ole Girl Eve Cleveland had taken the time, yet again to comment on my blog. I was feeling kind of bad, having been keeping to myself, on account of my health. But now that my eyes aren't weeping quite so copiously, I thought I'd catch up with everyone. I popped on over to Eve's trailer, and got a nice surprise.
She's been "tagged" by Hedon over at Highway Hags and in turn, had tagged some other bloggers, myself included. It's kind of a recognition. There are no trophies, no contracts for Nike ads and your blog isn't featured on Larry King. But it does come with some rules and responsibilities.
* First, you provide the link back to the blogger that tagged you, which in my case, was Eve Cleveland over at That's Funny Because.
* Then you write seven things about yourself that others don't about you.
* Then you tag seven other bloggers.
I'm going to chug another bottle of that nice, speedy cough syrup they no longer sell. My stockpile is dwindling and I'm a bit out of touch with the black market, after that embarrassing matter with the Feds. But I'll be back in a jiffy, so fulfill my tagging duties.

Susan~Thanks so much for your sweet words. I doubt you know this yet, but I was going to head over to your place to let you know that yours is one of the blogs that I tagged.

Thank you, Dano.

I have just found out that this widget only shows some of my earlier posts. I am working on a new system, which will take a few days, ahem, a couple of months(!) to create. So sorry!
