Hello, boys and girls.  I have been given a couple of awards recently, which I need to pass on.  One, the Arte Y Pico Award, came from John D.  The other, the A Hoy Award, came from Stan.  I have been remiss in my duties.  But I spent some time trolling my blog roll, seeing who already is weighted down by  many trophies, checking out who reads and writes often to other blogs and working out a complicated system of reward.

I have it on paper, for the most part.  Over this holiday, I'll put finger to keyboard and hand 'em out.  It's been difficult.  It's based on a sliding-scale format, that allows for newbies as well as seasoned bloggers, that sees many deserving bloggers who are already polishing their tenth award, that will fail name all those that I'd like to.  In short, some people will be left out.  But hey, nice as they are, they are not the Nobel Prize.  So keep your knickers on and your chin up!
