I just got back from Long Beach Island, where Cricket, Griffin, Nigel Nancyboy, Zebedee Minky Star and I spent Christmas. I thought I'd write a big ole post, now that I'm back at my computer. I thought I'd have much to say and a million ways to say it. I thought I'd hand out A Hoy Awards, thank my readers, speak about Important and Burning Issues, doll up my widgets, be modest yet brilliant, on topic yet universal, personal yet global, insightful yet omnipotent, provocative yet hairy, poetic yet dull, challenging yet shiny, and yet....
I am merely weary, a tad tired and a little sleepy. I doubt I will write much more tonight. Dear Reader, forgive me for being yet me.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

I believe I hit the "reject" button when reading your comment. Mea Culpa yet again!

My sweet. The boys are back in Philly with us, much to the chagrin of Henrietta. Gemma-Pooh-Bear, my feral cat was in love with the late Hello Newman.
The A Hoys. A wonderful concept that I look forward to sharing. Thank you.

It was a non-Christmas, which to me was wonderful. For the first time in my forty-two years, I did just what I wanted.
I cooked a bit for potential guests, and was with my best friend Cricket, her dog Griffin and my boy cats.
Our dear friend Pat's husband died two years ago. On Saturday, we attended her wedding to a man she dated before she married her late husband Ed.
Pat and her new husband are in their seventies. How brilliant is that?
Hope yours was equally relaxed and filled with love.
