American Sign Language (ASL) Signs The Songs.

Posted by kw in , , ,

I'm cheating.  I'm posting videos I like, as my internal system has crashed.  You may hate the music, which is OK. You can turn the sound down.  This is being voice-overed in ASL.  See how powerful the words are.  Feel them.

Astounding. The flavor of the songs comes through entirely in the ASL.

thanks Dano for introducing me to Marylin Manson, god knows how it's possible I've never heard him but I haven't...

I liked it, but I could only listen to a very small bit because of my noise sensitivity...sounds like stuff I liked a lot at one time...again strange I've not ever listened to him given he's so OUT there and all...

I enjoyed the ASL...

i know some sign language but not much and now i am a bit rusty from not having used it in so long. you have inspired me to get back to it! i was thinking with my MS...sometimes i lose my ability to talk so signs would be really helpful.

oh also wanted to ask if you wanted to give your opinion about Obama's plan to put all our health records on-line. i am for it but with cautions. it seems most of the mental health community seems not to be in favor of it. was curious how you felt.

here is the article:

I love ASL. I've taken so many classes in it and cannot seem to learn enough! We used to incorporate it in our interpretive dance. It is so beautiful.

IMMI~

ASL is an amazing language. Tenses do not exist, and the context changes with the signer's facial expressions and body language.

VIVIENNE~

Go for it! I did a couple of years back.

GIANNA~

You live in a wonderful world!

I love the ASL guy, who looks so square at the beginning and then turns into a MM freak!

Hope you got the Kanye to work. It's a great juxtaposition.

MERELY~

I didn't know about the online health records. I'll look into that this week. Thanks for the info.

DANNY~

I could absolutely see how ASL would work with dance. It is an interpretive language with fantastic moves.
